From July 2025, Dr Jane Reffell will be joining Dr Emma Harvey at Remi Menopause Clinic in Ballina. This marks an exciting new chapter, creating a dedicated private menopause practice in the Northern Rivers that offers expert, personalised care for women as they navigate the menopause transition.
Dr Reffell’s current menopause practice at Newrybar will close at the end of June 2025. Her final day seeing patients at Women’s Health and Wellbeing will be 26th June 2025.
If you already have an appointment booked with Dr Reffell from July 2025 onwards, it will be automatically transferred to Remi Menopause Clinic, and you will receive confirmation and reminders from Remi in coming weeks.
If your appointment is scheduled before 26th June 2025, it will take place at the Newrybar practice. Appointments from July 2025 onwards will be held at Remi Menopause Clinic, located at the Ballina Health Centre (32 Tamar Street, Ballina).
Dr Jane will also be offering Telehealth appointments for patients who are unable to travel to the Ballina clinic.
Women’s Health and Wellbeing will continue to manage Dr Jane’s bookings until the end of June 2025. After that date, appointments can be made online via remi.com.au.
If you’ve had an appointment with Dr Jane at Women’s Health and Wellbeing in the past four years, there’s no need to book an initial appointment at Remi. You can simply select the 30-minute review appointment when booking online.
Dr Reffell will retain your medical records and continue to store them securely for seven years, in line with medicolegal requirements. Your file will not be transferred to Remi without consent.
