Helen Larkey is a Masters level trained relationship and grief counsellor and owner operator of Reconnect counselling. Helen has nineteen years experience as a counsellor and has been working with individuals, couples and families in Bangalow since 2012. She was a lecturer for over six years in counselling, communication and conflict management at Southern Cross University.
Helen works from the premise that “the person is not the problem the problem is the problem”. Working individually with her clients as each person is unique, she listens to their concerns and issues with compassion and empathy. And works from a Solution Focused Model in order to help clients to reach their goals and to bring about the change they desire in their relationships.
Reconnect Counselling also runs two- and three-day intensive retreats in the Northern Rivers area for couples. These retreats fast track the counselling process and help people solve their issues in what would otherwise take months of sessions.
Helen is also available to see clients in Ballina, online via zoom and telephone.
Sessions are $160 for an individual for sixty minutes and $200 per sixty minutes for a couple.
